Overview

Course Description

Occupational health and safety management is the discipline that turns intention into control: identifying what can harm people, deciding what is reasonable to do about it, and building the system that makes those decisions stick.

This comprehensive two-week training course develops full competence in occupational health and safety management. Participants learn the legal and moral basis of health and safety, management systems and their elements, risk assessment methodology, the control of the major workplace hazard groups — physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic and psychosocial — incident investigation, and the leadership, culture and performance measurement through which safety is actually delivered.
