At senior level, health and safety stops being about hazards and starts being about systems, evidence and influence: building a management system that survives scrutiny, quantifying risk credibly, and persuading a board to act before an event rather than after it.
This advanced modular programme develops professional-level occupational health and safety management capability. Delivered across five modules, it covers the scientific and legal foundations of the discipline, advanced risk management, the major hazard groups at technical depth, occupational health and hygiene, and the strategic dimension — leadership, culture, performance and the business case for safety.
Note: this is a modular programme delivered across five separate weeks rather than continuously, allowing participants to remain in work between modules.
