Course Description
The Infrared Thermography Category I course develops confident infrared thermographers. With BII Research's interactive simulations, 3D animations, and a wealth of case studies, participants understand the science of infrared thermography rather than memorising facts.
Participants learn how the camera functions — and thus how to collect good data the first time — and study the mechanical and electrical failure modes of plant equipment so they can accurately detect and diagnose a wide range of fault conditions. Certification via the certifying body (exam: 50 questions, 2 hours, 75% pass; 12 months experience for full certification).
