Course Description
Precision Balancing develops the practical capability to balance rotating machinery in the field to precision standards. Unbalance is one of the most common causes of excessive vibration, bearing damage, and reduced machine life.
Participants learn the theory of unbalance, single- and two-plane balancing procedures, and how to achieve and verify precision balance quality grades using BII Research's simulations.
What you will achieve
By the end of this training course, participants will be able to:
- Explain unbalance and its effect on machine health
- Distinguish static, couple, and dynamic unbalance
- Perform single-plane field balancing
- Perform two-plane field balancing
- Use influence coefficients and trial weights correctly
- Apply ISO balance quality grades and acceptance criteria
- Verify and document balance results
How the course is delivered
The course uses BII Research's interactive simulations to make balancing theory clear, then applies it through practical single- and two-plane balancing exercises with trial weights and influence coefficients.
Participants access the Learning Zone for reference material and ongoing support.
