Course Description

Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) is the internationally recognised methodology for determining the optimum maintenance strategy for any physical asset in its operating context. This course applies best practices in answering the seven questions of RCM using a real-life, case-study approach, aligned with the SAE JA1011 and JA1012 standards.

Participants learn the complete RCM process — from function definition and functional failure through Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to consequence evaluation and task selection. The course covers how RCM manages safety, environmental, operational, and cost consequences while optimising resources, following the internationally recognised SAE JA1011/JA1012 framework.
