Course Description
OGMP 2.0 Level 5 is the standard the EU Methane Regulation treats as equivalent to its own requirements — and it is the level almost nobody has reached. Level 5 demands that source-level emission estimates be reconciled against site-level measurements, which means an operator must both build a bottom-up inventory and measure what the site actually emits, then explain the gap.
That reconciliation is where operators fail. Bottom-up inventories built from emission factors routinely understate real emissions; site-level measurement exposes it; and closing the discrepancy requires measurement infrastructure, method discipline and documentation that most producers do not have.
This flagship course builds Level 5 capability. Participants learn the OGMP 2.0 framework and its five levels, source-level inventory construction, site-level measurement approaches, the reconciliation process itself, uncertainty quantification, treatment of super-emitters, reporting templates and submission, and the path from current practice to Level 5 within an audit cycle.
