Course Description
AQAP is where defence procurement separates suppliers who can be trusted with a contract from those who cannot. The Allied Quality Assurance Publications set NATO's requirements for supplier quality systems, and AQAP 2110 compliance is routinely a contractual condition — it is, in effect, ISO 9001 with the additional obligations that come from supplying armed forces.
This programme addresses AQAP and its implementation. Participants learn the AQAP framework and its relationship to ISO 9001, AQAP 2110 requirements for design, development and production, AQAP 2310 for the aviation sector, Government Quality Assurance and the role of the GQAR, configuration and change management, nonconformity and risk, documentation and records, and preparation for assessment.

How the course is delivered
The programme works through AQAP requirements with implementation exercises for defence manufacturers, including gap analysis against an existing ISO 9001 system. Participants build the additional processes AQAP demands.
The programme is aimed at manufacturers preparing to qualify for allied defence contracts, and reflects that AQAP compliance is a contractual gate rather than a voluntary improvement.
